This year’s Monaco Yacht Show was a whirlwind of networking for the Maritime Training Academy, offering us a fantastic opportunity to connect with current and future students and industry partners. Here’s a look at our highlights of Monaco Yacht Show 2024…
Student success stories
Every year, our standout experience is meeting some of our students and hearing their success stories. It was great to catch up with Ali Khries, a Superyacht Refit and Newbuild student and meet his clients. We also met with a number of potential students who secured their place on our October intake for diplomas, including Yacht Brokerage, Superyacht Refit & Newbuilding and Superyacht Management.
Connecting with industry contacts
Monaco Yacht Show is a hub for catching up with colleagues and industry partners.
As always, it was great to catch up with Ian Biles – our course director! It was also great to see Pandora, who contributes to our “Art on Superyachts” content as well as Dr Jonathan Hadley-Piginn, who brings a wealth of knowledge to our Maritime Law courses.
In addition, we had the pleasure of meeting up with the team from Superyacht Content as well as our recruitment partners Wilsonhalligan and SYR.
And not forgetting the unexpected highlight – meeting Formula 1 driver Carlos Sainz!
Looking Ahead
The 2024 Monaco Yacht Show proved to be an excellent opportunity for the Maritime Training Academy to connect with contacts and celebrate the successes of our students. The show’s incredible atmosphere, combined with valuable industry insights and networking opportunities, made it an event to remember.
