With over 25 years in the superyacht industry, including 20 years as a Captain and holding a Master 3000 since 2001, Ashley brings extensive practical knowledge and leadership to maritime education.

His global career has encompassed vessel operations, maintenance, refits, safety management, and compliance with regulations such as Flag State, International Safety Management (ISM) Code, International Ship and Port Facility Security (ISPS) Code and working with classification societies, such as Lloyd’s Register (LR).

Known for mentoring crew throughout his career, Ashley is passionate about
guiding and preparing the next generation of maritime professionals.
