The online course consists of 1 module that must be completed within 6 months. The module consists of text, charts and pictures to help with your learning. Following completion of the course content, there are 10 multiple choice questions which must be passed with a score of 70% or above.
On successful completion of the module you will be rewarded with a Certificate in ‘Surveying Yacht and Small Craft Systems’.

Gary Webster

Gary has been sailing since the age of thirteen and has enjoyed everything from dinghy racing through to powerboats and cruising in the Mediterranean.
He has been in the mechanical and engineering field since 1977 and obtained Eng. Tech. qualification(Engineering Technician) in 1984. He is still actively involved in GRP repairs to yachts and small craft in his spare time and holds an MCA commercially endorsed skipper’s license.
He has been involved with insurance and risk assessments on vessels up to mega-yacht proportions and has carried numerous engineering surveys on behalf of claims adjusters worldwide. Gary has been responsible for producing reports on repair costing, fire and accident investigation and diagnosing and analysing faults for major international maritime companies and manufacturers.
