Here at the Maritime Training Academy we’re pleased to announce the launch of our “Shipyard Package”. This specialist package will consist of the Academy’s two existing Diploma’s in Superyacht Refit and Superyacht New Builds, but at a much reduced fee to the student.
Students will still be able to enrol for either course on an individual basis. However, for those students who wish to gain knowledge of both elements, they can benefit from MTA’s new combined package. Students enrolling on the “Shipyard Package” will also benefit from a free 6 months extension on the usual course term, therefore offering students the option of 3 examination dates; October 2016, April 2017 and October 2017. The package will be based on a buy one, get one half price fee structure and will apply to both the certificate and diploma options of each course.
Gemma Humphreys of the Maritime Training Academy says “Since we launched the Diploma in Superyacht Refit last year, it soon became apparent that many of our students wanted a course that combined the elements of refit and new build project management in one. However, as each course is so specific and unique, it made more sense for us to offer our students a reduced rate package, with the added benefit of further time to complete their studies.”
Both courses will commence 1st October 2015 and enrolment’s now open. Each course consists of 10 modules, covering everything you need to successfully manage a refit or new build project to completion.
In line with MTA’s other courses, the Diplomas in Superyacht Refit and Superyacht New Builds will be delivered through distance learning and students will be required to complete and submit all modular assignments for assessment. Students studying the diploma option of each course will also be required to sit a final examination.
Tutors and support staff are available to offer student guidance when required.
